When I first saw the premise of this book, I thought it looked like the sweetest thing ever. I always go for books with super cute romance (and often not the most plot) so this looked like the perfect fit.
And it did not disappoint! But let’s save all that for the review!
I’m going to jump right in by saying Defy the Night was one of my most anticipated reads of the year. So obviously, I was nervous…
I absolutely adored A Curse So Dark and Lonely, so I was totally worried this wouldn’t live up to my own hype.
Except I was completely wrong (as usual!). It took me about 2 days to finish and is now one of my favourite reads of the whole year!

The Spanish Love Deception was high up on my list this summer (not least because enemies to lovers is my favourite trope ever) and although I was a little disappointed, it still made for a really cute read.
I was SO excited when I received this book. 1. the cover is deliriously pretty and 2. I’d heard it had a similar feel to Caraval and The Night Circus, two of my favourite books EVER.
And being on holiday at the time, I was even more excited to lose myself in a magical read.
Today I’m reviewing one of my most anticipated reads of this year: One Last Stop by Casey McQuiston. I read Red, White and Royal Blue last year and fell completely and utterly in love. So it’s fair to say I was a little nervous going into this one that it wouldn’t quite live up to my expectations.
Of course, Casey McQuiston completely proved me wrong. But let’s save all that for the review…
